Less expensive Yukata Yellow are coming

New Less Expensive Yukata has just arrived!!

The Yukata is for summer wear. So we have many summer motives on Yukata. However, recently we have various motives for them. Such as rose (this is Spring flower), Sakura (Spring too)...

The featured one below has bell flower. (or Kikyou) and dragonfly.

It is sometime very difficult to identify the flowers. Because some designers draw them fuzzy on purpose. As the flower is a symbol of season. So if the Kimono has the specified ones, the season (or month or sometime weeks) are very narrowed. If you are able to choice these seasonal Kimono or Yukata, it is very luxury.

The rainbow colours is a kind of a protective symbols. These colours have meanings of directions and its protection.

The Kimono of this photo is "Kikkou patterned". Kikkou = Turtle's shell. This pattern shows gathering and lining of hexagons, just like a turtles shell of his back. 


Turtle reminds us "longevity". The repeated pattern is just like a symbol of your power Enlightenment.

New Koiguchi Shirts!! 

We added 6 new designs.  New Koiguchi Shirts has size 3L for ladies too. (Actually they are all for unisex though)

Koiguchi Shirts means literary Carp- Mouth shirts. The sleeve's shape is just like a carp and his mouth open. This is compared to Kimono's sleeve. We assume this was very good shocking design for Edo people.
